This is a very obvious question for new iPods touch buyers , before they switch from their older iPod touch 3rd generation to new iPod touch 4. Ipod touch 4 had a grand release on Sept 1 in Apple’s Annual Media Event . The new Touch has borrowed almost all the features from iPhone 4 , except the phone. It has striking similarities in terms of iOS performance .

The new iPod Touch 4 has an Smaller Speaker and a Smaller WiFi antenna so it get less WiFi Signal
The only good think of the iPod Touch 3 is That gets more WiFi Signal than the iPod Touch 4 and the iPod Touch 3 has a Bigger Speaker
but everything is better on the iPod Touch 4 except for those two things

Hi, I am tempted by the Ipod touch 4th Gen, what I need is a reliable mp3 player that won’t freeze, and will let me create an unlimited number of playlists on the player itself (ie not on computer to import into player). Does this also have a compatible docking station, or some way of attaching an audio cable rather than wearing out the headphones socket? Thanks
You can Buy a Docking Station for about 40-60$ give or take, it is called the iHome depending on what one you get depends on the price iPod Touch 3 is just a good MP3 as iPod 4
Oh yes , Apple Sells iTouch 4 docks , though you can buy compatible docks from other manufacturers aswell . Apart from Docks , you can buy Dock Speakers that are made for ipod touch 4.[there is one portable speaker dock from JBL for some 100 bucks i guess ]

is there the Sleep option on the itouch?.. i hateeeed that i had an ipod video, and you could put alarms with your music and then, you buy an itouch and you can’t put neither alarms with your music nor put it on sleep.. does that exist in the itocuh 4? (i had the 3)
and.. did they change the chargin problem they had, i mean not problem.. but in the itouch 3 you had to change your Bose speakers to buy a compatible one, that could charge.. cuz it had a different type of charger or whatever.. so.. did they go back to the way it were or did they leave it? Please answer meee cuz i’m thinkin of buying the 4, and im not sure..
That feature is in the iTouch 3 i know cause i use it daily
Only complaint is the wifi connection it is utter cr@p
