Good news for Indian users. Ipod touch 4 has reached Indian shores. Release of ipod touch 4 in 3rd world countries like India, Philippines , China is usually delayed after few months of its international release in parts of United States and Europe .
Ipod Touch 4 is priced at Rs 15,400 [$350] for the 8GB base model . It is available through chain of Apple store , Music World , Ezone and other unauthorized retailers in all parts of the country .
The only option for iPod Touch 4 fans till now was to import ipod touch through Ebay or Amazon and buy it with additional commission added by the online seller along with any custom duties added while shipping . Not to mention the delay in reaching at your door step , but still ipod touch 4 is worth the price. The earlier 3rd Generation ipod touch was selling at Rs 12,400 [$280] for the base 8GB model . The difference in price of the two models seems quite appropriate with additional Rs 3000 [$65] added to the new 4th generation ipod touch [added facetime camera , rear camera , retina display , 1GHz processor] .

Price for the Ipodtouch 4 (8gb model) in India (Rs.15000 approx)is greater than the price for the Ipodtouch 4 (32 GB MODEL Rs. 13500) in America. Prices are not exactly accurate…but you get the point.
dont compare with american price , indian price is much higher , still i think its cheap compared to the older ipod touch model . it was 12,400 Rs while in new ipod we get 2 cameras , retina display , microphone , 1ghz processor and slim design for just 3000 rs extra .. better deal
You did not get the point. Try to apply your brain a little and realize…that is exactly why you should get it from your friends or relatives from abroad. Unless you think it’s fine paying 15k for the 8gb where you could easily get the 32 gigs for the same.
