Wooden Ipod Mini – Creative Ipod Mods
Wooden iPod Mini from Apple , well not really. This creative work is from Australian graphics designer Josh Darrah . This ipod mini is designed and crafted on Australian Red Cedar with brass finishing. Josh dis-assembled and re-assembled the whole ipod mini to build his masterpiece.
The ipod is made with hand maintaining high precision while crafting the click-wheel which is entirely made with hand and no use of machines .
The total cost to put together the new ipod mini made of wood was AUD $ 16 , but took the designer 4 good weekends to complete the job. The ipod modding is not done in large-scale , but Josh plans to extend his ipod mini modding to members of the ipod touch 4 clan , in the form of DIY Kits .
